On the corner of Columbus Street and W. Lafayette Street: We are located across from Washington Park, the historic park where Lincoln & Douglas held their first debate. Just north of us is the appellate courthouse and we're kitty-corner to the Reddick Mansion. Traffic flows only north on Columbus, so if you are coming from the north, you'll need to go south on LaSalle Street (Rt. 23) and turn left onto W. Lafayette Street. If you have time while you are in the area, Washington Park is worth walking through. It has some attractive flower beds, a thought-provoking statue of Lincoln & Douglas and great paths for kids to run on.
